Welcome to the Department of Neonatology!
I am pleased to introduce you to our Department of Neonatology. We are proud to be part of one of the premier academic medical centers in the world, the University of Pennsylvania Health System and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Based on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, our health system extends throughout the Delaware Valley.
We have a large full time faculty who participate in clinical care, teaching, and research.
Our Department has a strong reputation for clinical excellence. We offer both primary and specialized care in infant health service to our immediate community and in the Delaware Valley. Many patients travel to us from outside the area for highly specialized services that we offer. Please explore some of our clinical programs. We also have a highly skilled transport team available for both ground and air transport.
As part of one of the leading research institutions in the country, we have a strong commitment to developing new knowledge in the field and to rapidly bringing these developments to our patients.
