Working with Temple University and the Philadelphia branch of the National Archives, the Pennsylvania Hospital Historic Collections welcomed an education major from Temple University to create projects useful to participants of the 2013 National History Day. The theme is Turning Points.
The student, Lauren Plested, created a website containing an overview of the information on mental illness in the 18th and 19th centuries in our collection, Turning Points: The Transition of the Treatment of the Mentally Ill from late 18th century to early 20th century.
In 2011, former Temple student Nicholas Campellone created a website highlighting The Donation of Benjamin West's Christ Healing the Sick in the Temple.
