CLINICAL CLERKSHIPS

Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation's first, has a tradition of education that is more than 200 years old.  From Jacob Ehrenzeller in 1773 and C. Everett Koop in 1941 to the present, our programs promote quality patient care and blend humanistic and scientific training for physicians.

Pennsylvania Hospital takes special pride in the undergraduate clerkships that are available and in the attention that is provided to medical students during orientation, onsite education and ongoing communication. Students from across the country and world participate in the hospital's training programs.
